The Keystone Pharmacy Purchasing Alliance, Inc. (KPPA) is a Group Purchasing Organization (GPO), and was formed solely for the benefit of Independent Pharmacy. Keystone's primary purpose is to offer its members the lowest prices available from wholesalers and manufacturers (both generic and name brand), as well as on all types of supplies, goods and services. For an initial one-time enrollment fee, member pharmacies are guaranteed to receive their share of all performance incentive dollars on a quarterly basis, in addition to low contract pricing, and special terms and conditions formerly only available to large groups. Member stores (now in 5 states) receive market share incentives and a share of Keystone's profits according to participation.
