Pharmacy Franchise Owners Association is a group of more than 369 independent and franchise pharmacy owners nationwide. The association’s headquarters are in St. Louis, MO.

In addition to franchisee/franchisor relations, PFOA provides our members purchasing opportunities outside of the franchise system. Members have found that products and supplies can be purchased outside of the “preferred franchisor vendor” system for a lower price, as rebates paid by the vendors to the franchisor are eliminated from the price. PFOA currently has purchasing contracts available for numerous pharmacy supplies, and has a preferred wholesaler contract with AmerisourceBergen.

PFOA was founded in 2004, and its Mission Statement is, “To Protect, Preserve and Promote the interests of pharmacy franchise owners.”
