Associated Pharmacies Inc. (API) was
formed in 1987 to provide a mechanism to consolidate the purchasing strength
of independent pharmacy to enable our membership to compete with the
purchasing opportunities enjoyed by the warehousing chains. API is an
independent pharmacy owned co-operative that positions ourselves utilizing
the strengths of aggregated purchasing power leveraged across direct and
indirect distribution channels and operates systematically using many of the
beneficial disciplines exhibited by the warehousing chain pharmacy segment.

primary vendor agreement with a national wholesaler
